Hans Hahne (30 November 1894 – missing as of 24 June 1944) was a highly decorated Generalmajor in the Wehrmacht during World War II who commanded the 197. Infanterie-Division. He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Hans Hahne disappeared 26 June 1944 near Vitebsk during the Vitebsk–Orsha Offensive of Operation Bagration; he was posthumously promoted to the rank of Generalmajor.
