Happy Couples Never Last was an independent record label founded in Indianapolis, Indiana in 1998. The label has gone on to produce nearly 40 albums under their title. A majority of the records released have been artist splits. HCNL has one compilation titled Relics of Ordinary Life under their title featuring various screamo acts, such as Usurp Synapse, Hassan I Sabbah, the Suicide Note and more. HCNL is currently inactive, although Clark Giles plans to issue one more release to bring the count to an even 50.
