An Austrian noble family originating from the Lorraine and named after the above location. All descendants of Count Joseph-Louis-Mathieu de La Fontaine et d'Harnoncourt (1736, Sorbey - 1816, Harnoncourt) and the Austrian Countess Maria Leopoldine Unverzagt, who raised their only child in Vienna, have the title count or countess.
