Harry Bloomfield (rugby league)

Harry Bloomfield (1883-1950) was an Australian pioneer rugby league player.

Harry Bloomfield was the first captain for the Cumberland rugby league club in 1908, in the first season of the NSWRFL. The Cumberalnd club only lasted one year, and fullback, Harry Bloomfield then transferred to Western Suburbs Magpies for the 1909 season. He also represented New South Wales on two occasions in 1908. Harry Bloomfield died at Homebush, New South Wales on 12 July 1950, aged 67. [2]
