The Times of India stated that she and Param Singh have a "scorching screen chemistry"[3] and have "surprisingly found a connect with their fans"[4] due in part to their onscreen fights.[5] In November 2014, the Times of India also cited the two on-screen kisses the couple shared as being part of a trend where such intimacies are becoming more common on prime time television with Gaur stating that she is not bothered as long as the scenes "are filmed aesthetically".[6]
