Hassan Yektapanah
Hassan Yektapanah (born 1963 in Tehran) is an internationally acclaimed Iranian (Persian) filmmaker and screen writer.
He started his career as an assistant director, first with Jafar Panahi on “The Mirror” (1997) and then on Abbas Kiarostami’s award-winning film “The Taste of Cherry” (1997).
He made his own debut as a director with Djomeh, winning the coveted Caméra d'Or for the best first-time entry at the 2000 Cannes Film Festival.[1]
