Haughley Green is a village in Suffolk, England, four miles from Stowmarket. It was the location of the Haughley Experiment, the first scientific study comparing organic farming.
Hillcroft Preparatory School was in Haughley Green. Established in 1911, it was the oldest co-ed preparatory (elementary/pre-teen) day school in Suffolk. It used to occupy Walnutree Manor, former headquarters of the Soil Association. In 2006 the school closed down and no longer exists.
