Hayashima (早島町 Hayashima-chō) is a town located in Tsukubo District, Okayama Prefecture, Japan.
As of June 1, 2010, the town has a population of 12,331 and a density of 1,606.44 persons per km².[1] This is the highest population density of any municipality in Okayama Prefecture. The total area is 7.61 km², making it also the smallest municipality.
