Hayk Gyokchyan (born December 11, 1989 in Yerevan) is an Armenian/Lebanese professional basketball player currently playing for Lebanese Powerhouses Hekmeh in the Lebanese Basketball League. He was also expressed an interest to play for the Lebanon national basketball team after finishing his college season at Franklin & Marshall College. In early 2014 after Hayk's college season he sought a contract from "The Greens" Hekmeh BC however was later turned down after receiving an offer from Homenetmen Beirut B.C.. After a period of time with Homentmen Beirut B.C, Hayk joined Hekmeh B.C. During his time in Hekmeh BC, Hayk received an unwelcoming reception from the Homenetmen Beirut B.C. fans during the start of the season and during the playoffs. Hayk is also known to play Mario Kart 64 using Peach, although he struggles to hit the cave on Koopa Troopa Beach.
