Hayrola is Hande Yener's seventh studio album. It was released on 6 April 2009.

Album information

The album, released on 6 April 2009, contains ten songs. All songs are composed and produced by Erol Temizel. The lyrics of eight songs are written by Hande Yener herself; the song Sarhoş Dünya is written in collaboration with her journalist friend Ayşe Özyılmazel.^[1] Turkish rock singer Aylin Aslım contributed to the album by writing the lyrics of the song titled Siz.^[2] Hande Yener expresses her feelings about the album as follows:^[3]

"This album is born with a brand new energy. I exposed sincerely all the hidden, closeted parts of myself in this album; I reveal the real me. I see the world through these eyes. I hope everyone will like it."

Promotion

Initial information about the album was revealed by Ayşe Özyılmazel, co-lyricist of the song Sarhoş Dünya, on March 11, 2009. She wrote about working with Hande Yener in her column on Sabah newspaper and disclosed the lyrics in her column.^[4] At the end of March, album photography was shot by Kemal Doğulu, after which portfolios were sent to the press with official preliminary information about the album.^[5]
