Hayward Osborne

The Ven. Hayward John Osborne [1] (born 16 September 1948) has been the Archdeacon of Birmingham [2] since 2001 [3]

Osborne was educated at Sevenoaks School; New College, Oxford and Westcott House, Cambridge. He was ordained deacon in 1973 and priest in 1974. After a curacy at Bromley Parish Church he was Team Vicar at St John the Baptist, Halesowen then Team Rector at St Barnabas, Worcester. He was Area Dean of Moseley from 1994 until 2001; and Vicar of St Mary, Moseley from 1988 until 2001.[4] He was Priest in charge of St Bartholomew, Allen's Cross from 2008 to 2010. He has been a member of the General Synod of the Church of England since, 1998.[5]
