This is a list of heads of state of Albania, since the Declaration of Independence of Albania from the Ottoman Empire in 1912.
The second section lists the First Secretaries of the Party of Labour of Albania (PPSH) in 1941-1991. From 1944 onwards, the First Secretary was the country's de facto chief executive.
