"Heaven Sent" is a song by Canadian singer-songwriter Esthero. It was released as first official (second overall) single from her debut album Breath from Another and being classified as the Billboard Hot Dance Breakout number four for the category of Maxi-Singles Sales. Track "Breath from Another" was released as second A-side on CD. "Heaven Sent" is a "jazzy, lounge" trip-hop song which switches to rock at the chorus. The Observer called the song a "neo-murder ballad".
Song was featured on the VH1 show Breaking Bonaduce.

Music video

The haunting music video for the single was filmed on June 1998 and released next month. It was heavily influenced by Luis Buñuel avant-garde silent movie Un Chien Andalou starring Salvador Dalí and hasn't any plot.[1] It was directed by Phil Harder.[2] The video received little airplay on MTV in August 1998.
