Hedya dimidiana is a moth of the Tortricidae family. It was described by Clerck in 1759. It is found from most of Europe, through Russia to Japan. It has also been recorded from Vietnam.[3]

The wingspan is 14–18 mm. Adults have been recorded on wing from June to July.[4]

The larvae have been recorded feeding on Prunus padus,[5] Prunus avium, Prunus cerasus, Prunus armeniaca and Sorbus species. Larvae can be found from August to April.[6]
