Heiderscheid (Luxembourgish: Heischent) is a small town in northwestern Luxembourg. It is part of the canton of Wiltz, which is part of the district of Diekirch. It was a former commune but was merged with Esch-sur-Sûre in 2011.[1]
As of 2005, the town of Heiderscheid has a population of 393. Other towns within the former commune include Eschdorf, the former administrative centre, and Merscheid.
