Heinrich Wohlers (16 March 1912 – 15 March 1944) was a German Luftwaffe night fighter ace and recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross during World War II. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Wohlers claimed 29 aerial victories, all of them at night. He was killed on 15 March 1944 when his BF-110 suffered engine failure and crashed at Echterdingen.
