Helena Dalli
Helena Dalli is a Maltese politician with the Malta Labour Party. She is a four-time Member of Parliament, making her the third-most elected woman in Maltese political history. She is the Minister for Social Dialogue, Consumer Affairs, and Civil Liberties within the Maltese Government 2013–18.
In April 2015, she presented a law establishing basic rights for transsexual and intersex people. This was the world-first such law to be implemented for intersex people.[1][2][3][4][5][6]
She is also a lecturer in sociology at the University of Malta.
