Helir-Valdor Seeder
Helir-Valdor Seeder (born 7 September 1964) is an Estonian politician of the Union of Pro Patria and Res Publica.
Seeder was born in Viljandi. He was Mayor of Viljandi from 1992 to 1993, Governor of Viljandi County from 1993 to 2003, a member of the Riigikogu from 2003 to 2007, and has been Minister of Agriculture from April 2007 to March 2014.[1]
From 21 May 2009 until 4 June 2009 he served also as the acting Minister of Finance.
In 2015 parliamentary election, Seeder was re-chosen to the parliament with 2,908 individual votes.[2] In March he was elected as the First Deputy Speaker of the parliament.[3]
