Helmut Bohlens (22 September 1914 – 19 April 1943) was a German Luftwaffe reconnaissance pilot and recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross during World War II. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Helmut Bohlens was killed in action on 19 April 1943 over the Mediterranean Sea. He was posthumously awarded the Knight's Cross on 21 June 1943.
