Helmut Frink (28 June 1919 – 28 August 1943) was a highly decorated major in the Wehrmacht during World War II. He was a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Helmut Frink was killed on 28 August 1943 near Sewsk, Russia. He was posthumously awarded the Knight's Cross on 21 October 1943 and was also promoted to the rank of major.
