Helperby is a village and civil parish in the Hambleton district of North Yorkshire, England, about five miles west of Easingwold.[2] Over the years it has joined onto Brafferton.
Helperby has a new Millennium hall and a butcher's shop. There used to be a Café and Post Office but these closed in 2012. There are two churches, a Church of England and a disused Methodist Chapel, which is now a house. In 2008 Helperby had a new pavilion at the football and cricket pitch.
The Hidden Gardens of Helperby are held in the village annually on the first weekend in July
