The Helpmann Award for Best Ballet or Dance Work is a dance award presented by Live Performance Australia at the annual Helpmann Awards since 2001.[1] The Helpmann Awards are Australia's national awards for live performance.

Indigenous contemporary dance company Bangarra Dance Theatre has won the award five times, and The Australian Ballet have won four times.
