Heritage Christian Academy is an independent, multi-denominational, private, Christian, K-12 college-preparatory school located in Rockwall, Texas. It was founded in 1995 by educators and families that wanted a Christian school not tied to a particular denomination, yet held true to biblically based Christian values. The school is accredited by the Accreditation Commission of the Texas Association of Baptist Schools (ACTABS).
Academics
HCA offers classes in art, computer, music, physical education, science and Spanish (K-6th grade) for elementary school students. Middle and high school students (7th grade-12th grade) are taught math, science, foreign language (Spanish and American Sign Language), social studies, English, speech, Fine Arts and technology and Biblical studies.
Athletics
HCA offers baseball, basketball, golf, football, cheerleading, swimming, softball, tennis, dance team, track, and volleyball offered to its students.
