Herzl "Herzi" Halevi (Hebrew: הרצי (הרצל) הלוי) is a major general in the Israel Defense Forces and the current chief of the Israeli Military Intelligence Directorate.[1] Halevi is the first Orthodox Jew to serve as head of Israeli military intelligence.[2]
Halevi visited the United States for the second time since being named major general in March 2015. [3]
