Heskestad
Heskestad is a village and parish located in Lund municipalityin Rogaland county, Norway.
Heskestad was part of Helleland clerical district until 1820 when it became part of Lund clerical district. Heskestad parish was created as Heskestad formannskapsdistrikt in 1837. On 1 January 1965 the majority of Heskestad, with 547 inhabitants, became a part of Lund municipality. At the same time Gyadalen and Grøsfjell with 114 inhabitants were moved to Eigersund municipality.[1]
Heskestad Church (Heskestad Kirke) dates from 1904. It was built of timber and has 220 seats.
