Hetmanate

The Hetmanate (Ukrainian: Гетьманат or Гетьманщина), a political entity ruled by a hetman. The name Hetmanate, especially in Russian sources, referred to Cossack regiments in Left-bank Ukraine that were under of the authority of Moscow's hetman, from 1667 onward. This excludes both Zaporizha and Sloboda Ukraine.[1] It may refer to:
