Hewitsonia congoensis is a butterfly in the Lycaenidae family. It is found in Cameroon and the Democratic Republic of Congo (Mongala, Uele, Ituri, North Kivu, Tshopo, Tshuapa, Equateur, Mai-Ndombe, Kwango, Sankuru, Maniema and Lualaba).[2]
