Hibi Chōchō (日々蝶々) is a Japanese slice of life romance shōjo manga series written and illustrated by Suu Morishita and published by Shueisha in Margaret magazine.[1] Volume 1 was released on July 25, 2012 and a total of 10 volumes have been published so far. The series is published in French by Panini, which released the first volume on February 4, 2015.[2][3] It was adapted into a drama CD.[4]

- Suiren Shibazeki (柴石すいれん Shibazeki Suiren)
- Voiced by: Kana Hanazawa
- She's known in school as a "flower on a high peak" (高嶺の花 takane no hana), a phrase meaning "an unattainable object". A beautiful but quiet girl, she never speaks to anyone, because of her extreme shyness.
- Taichii Kawasumi (川澄泰一[5] Kawasumi Taiichi)
- Voiced by: Ryōta Ōsaka
- He's a quiet boy with glasses, who is also the school's karate champion. He is generally taciturn with everybody, and especially reserved around girls.
- Aya Shimizu (清水あや Shimizu Aya)
- Voiced by: Miyuki Sawashiro
- Aya is Suiren's friend, a sleepy-eyed but generally pushy girl.
- Ryōsuke Takaya (高屋良祐 Takaya Ryōsuke)
- Voiced by: Hiro Shimono
- Ryōsuke is Kawasumi's friend, a less-accomplished karate club member who has known Kawasumi since they were small children.
- Koharu Shinkawa (新川小春 Shinkawa Koharu)
- Voiced by: Ami Koshimizu
- Koharu is a beautiful, extroverted girl who has her heart set on dating Kawasumi. When he rejects her initial confession, she doesn't give up, but continues to fight for his affections.
- Yuri Kudō (工藤ゆり Kudō Yuri)
- Voiced by: Risa Taneda
- Yuri is Suiren's friend. She has also known Ryōsuke for years.

Reception
It was number four on the 2014 Kono Manga ga Sugoi! Top 20 Manga for Female Readers survey[16] and it was number nine in the Nationwide Bookstore Employees' Recommended Comics of 2014.[17] It was also nominated for Best Shōjo Manga at the 38th Kodansha Manga Award.[18][19]
Volume 4 has sold 42,419 copies, as of 29 June 2013;[20] volume 5 has sold 83,454 copies, as of 6 October 2013;[21] volume 6 has sold 112,902 copies, as of 5 January 2014.[22] volume 7 reached the 16th place on the Oricon weekly ranking of manga[23] and, as of May 11, 2014, has sold 162,618 copies;[24] volume 8 reached the 10th place and, as of August 3, 2014, has sold 124,788 copies.[25]
