Hidarnes I Orontid (Armenian: Հիդարնես Ա Երվանդունի) Armenian King of Orontid Dynasty reigning in the end of the 6th century.
Hidarnes established "Yervandakan" feast in the name of Orontid Dynasty, which sounds in Armenian as "Yervanduni". The feast was dedicated to Orontid Dynasty, Van city or as it was called in those days Yervandakan, Van lake and Hayots Canion Gorge.[1]
