Hiding Place is a Contemporary Christian album of Worship music by Don Moen. It was released on October 17, 2006 by Integrity, Hosanna! Music, Columbia and Sony. It is Don Moen's first full-length studio album. In 2007, Integrity Asia released Platinum Edition in Singapore and later it was released in Europe. The Platinum Edition CD contains a Bonus DVD of unreleased footage. The CD is released in HDCD format.

Background

Most of Moen's albums are live albums. However, Moen wanted to produce a studio album that would not have any applause, so that listeners would be able to enter God's presence. Speaking on this, he said,

But for this project, I felt that applause would fill up a lot of space that I wanted to leave free for people to 'steal away'; for a moment. The goal is to create an atmosphere that encourages people to enter into God's presence and applause isn't necessary for that to take place. So, I decided to make a change and take an unfamiliar road for Hiding Place.^[1]

Thus, Hiding Place became Moen's first full-length studio album.
