Higashiosaka by-election, 2006
Higashi-osaka held a by-election on August 6 for two seats for the Osaka Prefectural Assembly. One seat went to the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) candidate and the second to the Japanese Communist Party (JCP) candidate.
