High House Meadows, Monewden

High House Meadows, Monewden is a Site of Special Scientific Interest in the parish of Monewden in the English county of Suffolk. The site is made up of 3 hectares (7.4 acres) of unimproved pasture meadows in a herb-rich environment.[1] It is located around 2 miles (3.2 km) north-east of Otley and 10 miles (16 km) north of Ipswich.

The site contains a range of rare species including Olchicum autumnale, Orchis morio, Trifolium ochroleucon and Ophioglossum vulgatum.[1] It is managed informally by Suffolk Wildlife Trust[1] and is located close to their reserve at Martins' Meadows, a similar unimporved meadow environment which is also designated as an SSSI.
