Hill-Rom Holdings, Inc., is a holding company, formerly known as Hillenbrand Industries, and began public trading as Hill-Rom Holdings, Inc. on the NYSE on 1 April 2008. It has one subsidiary. Hill-Rom makes hospital beds, furniture, other medical equipment, and medical technology systems.
Previously the company was also the owner of the Batesville Casket Company. On 1 April 2008 that company was split off to form Hillenbrand, Inc.
In June 2015, Hill-Rom Holdings acquired Welch Allyn for a round $2.05 billion.[1]
