Hill Climb Racing is a 2D racing video game developed by Fingersoft. It was released on Google Play and for devices using Apple's iOS in 2012 and on Windows Phone in 2013. During its first year of release it was downloaded over 100 million times.[1] By July 2014 it was downloaded over 200 million times.[2]

It features a man called Newton Bill, a young aspiring uphill racer making his way through different regions which includes Countryside, Desert, Arctic, Highway, Cave, Moon, Boot Camp, Mars, Alien Planet etc. It has a section which allows the player to choose a vehicle which includes Jeep, Motocross Bike, Monster Truck, Tractor, Hippie Van, One wheeler etc. The Facebook version features a glitch with the snowmobile, where a player can achieve top speed and acceleration by tapping the gas instead of just pressing it even with the vehicle not entirely updated.
