The Hilton Memphis is the tallest hotel in Memphis, Tennessee, United States.[1] Located off Interstate 240 in East Memphis. the 27-story hotel was built in 1975 and designed by Memphis architect Francis Mah. [2] Originally a Hyatt Regency, the hotel eventually became an Adam's Mark before being purchased by Hilton Hotels in 2004.[3] The 405 rooms are currently (as of 2011) being renovated in a modernist style. The hotel is known for being a convention hotel; both MidSouthCon in 2011 and Airliners International in 2012 are being held there. It is a great location for not only conventions but weddings as well. The various different ballrooms offer venues for any style.

The hotel has a gift shop, outdoor pool and whirlpool, and restaurant. [4] it is commonly used by politicians on election nights, and is known as where Lisa Marie Presley stays when she visits Memphis.[3]
