Hippolytus of Thebes

Hippolytus of Thebes was a Byzantine author of the seventh or eighth century. His Chronicle, preserved only in part, is an especially valuable source for New Testament chronology.

He claimed that Mary lived eleven years after the death of her son Jesus, until 41 CE.[1]

His works were published in Migne's Patrologia Graeca (PG 117).
