Hlynur Birgisson (born 22 January 1968) is an Icelandic former footballer. He was part of the Iceland national football team between 1987 and 1997. He played 12 matches, scoring 1 goal.[1][2] He was part of the Icelandic team at the 1995–96 UEFA Cup and 1994 FIFA World Cup qualification (UEFA – Group 5).
