Eldoraigne High is a secondary school located in Pretoria. Currently more than 1600 students are enrolled.[1]

History

Eldoraigne's pupils are equipped with life skills, knowledge and values to meet the challenges of the future and successfully cope with them.

Eldoraigne High's vision

Foundation year: 1974

Situated on the corner of Christopher street and Dortecht steet, Eldoraigne High was founded in 1974 as an Afrikaans secondary school[2][3]

Blue Bulls Rugby Union invites:[4]

Ranking

Eldoraigne High was rated as the best secondary school in Gauteng.[5] It also gained number one on Homecoming Revolution [6]

Eldoraigne High has a weekly newsletter called Eldo Info which contains the school's highlights of the week. It also contains a letter for the students written by the principal, invitations to social events, weekly sports results, upcoming sport matches, and opportunity for extra tutoring classes.[7]

Eldoraigne high encourages its students to take part in any form of sport they are interested in, although this doesn't count for extra credit. Types of sport done at the school include[8]

The pass rates for matric has been 100% for the first 9 years and 99.68% for 2013.
