Hoek (Dutch pronunciation: [ɦuk]) is a town in the Dutch province of Zeeland. It is a part of the municipality of Terneuzen, and lies about 22 km southeast of Vlissingen.
Hoek was a separate municipality until 1970.[1]
In 2001, the town of Hoek had 2502 inhabitants. The built-up area of the town was 0.56 km², and contained 1074 residences.[2] The statistical area "Hoek", which also can include the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 3210.[3]
