Hog Lake (Florida)
Coordinates: 27°31′50″N 81°31′03″W / 27.5306°N 81.5174°W Hog Lake is a natural freshwater lake in the Sun 'N Lakes community, in Highlands County, Florida (see Sun 'n Lake of Sebring, Florida). Hog Lake has a surface area of 19.6-acre (79,000 m2). About 1-acre (4,000 m2) of this is a manmade island inside the lake. The lake is directly north of the Sun 'N Lakes community center and is inside a park. The country club restaurant is directly north of the lake.[1]
The island inside Hog Lake may be reached by a wooden footbridge. A 75 foot (23 m) pier is on the north side of the island. Swimming and boating are not allowed on Hog Lake. Fishing is allowed on the pier.[2]
