Hypentelium is a genus of suckers found in eastern United States and Canada. There are three recognized species in this genus.

- Hypentelium nigricans (Lesueur, 1817) (Northern hog sucker)
- Hypentelium roanokense Raney & Lachner, 1947 (Roanoke hog sucker)
