Holme is a village in the Meland municipality, located in Hordaland county, Norway. The village lies along Herdlefjorden on the western coast of the island of Holsnøy. The 0.53-square-kilometre (130-acre) urban area of Holme (which includes Hjartås) has a population (2013) of 893, giving the village a population density of 1,685 inhabitants per square kilometre (4,360/sq mi).[1]
