Holy Family Primary School is a Roman Catholic, co-educational, primary school located in Bellshill, North Lanarkshire, Scotland. The school was founded in 1868 in buildings which included a chapel and presbytery, and the current building was built in 1907 to serve the Lithuanian, Polish and Irish Catholics who came seeking work. The building is 3 stories tall with 10 classrooms, a library, a music room, a dining room, a play room and a gym hall. The school currently tends to have around 210-250 pupils every year, but in its earlier days the school population reached 1,804: at this point it was occupying both the old and new (1907) buildings, and also the canteen of the local iron works.[1][2]
