Homer Hudson

Homer Hudson is a brand of ice cream licensed and marketed in Australia by the food company Entertainment for your Mouth, Pty. Ltd.

History

The brand was originally launched by Unilever in 1989, until being discontinued in 2009. Under a new licensing agreement with Entertainment for your Mouth, Homer Hudson was relaunched in March 2015 with redesigned flavours and packaging.

Product Description

Homer Hudson ice cream is designed to compete with other premium ice cream brands, with dense ice cream and unconventional inclusions. The brand’s packaging states that “we find out what people like and give them double.”[1]

The product range currently consists of four flavours:
Prom Queen Dream: vanilla ice cream.
Mo’ Dough: three different types of cookie dough and a toffee swirl in vanilla ice cream.
Choc and Awe: chocolate shards in dark chocolate ice cream.
Gold Cadi Crunch: chocolate toffee crunch with an English toffee swirl in vanilla ice cream.

The new packaging was created in collaboration with award-winning UK illustrator Serge Seidlitz.[2]
