Hong Kah Single Member Constituency
Hong Kah Single Member Constituency (Traditional Chinese: 丰加單選區;Simplified Chinese: 丰加单选区) is a defunct Single Member Constituency within Jurong, Singapore. It was there since 1984 to 1988 by craving most of the portions from the then defunct Boon Lay Single Member Constituency.
It was anchored by Yeo Cheow Tong, the former Transport Minister that has retired from politics, even after the ward has formed to a larger Hong Kah Group Representation Constituency until prior to 2011 elections where Yeo had retired from the politics and the bigger Hong Kah GRC was subsequently renamed to Chua Chu Kang GRC when Hong Kah North SMC was carved out from it while absorbing the longest surviving pre-independence era ward, Chua Chu Kang Single Member Constituency.
