Somaline Ang (born August 16, 1994), also known as Hong Ling, is a Singaporean actress of Chinese and Thai heritage, signed to MediaCorp.

Biography

Ang was born to a Singaporean Chinese father and a Thai mother, both who are self-employed. She is the oldest of three; she has a younger sister aged 19 and a brother aged 17. Ang was discovered through talent search programme Hey Gorgeous, in which she emerged as one of the semi-finalists in 2013.[1] Subsequently, she completed an acting course at the Singapore Media Academy in 2014.

Personal life

Ang studied in Fuchun Secondary School. She has completed Diploma in Business Information Technology at Temasek Polytechnic.[2]
