Hosianna Mantra is the third album by Popol Vuh. It was originally released in 1972 on the German record label Pilz. In 2004 SPV re-released the album with one bonus track (originally released on a 1972 solo single by Korean vocalist Djong Yun).

Critical reception

As a result of its unconventional musical style and its nationality, Hosianna Mantra remains unheard by most English-language publications and professional rock critics. Most existing reviews, however, are positive. Writing for Allmusic, Wilson Neate remarked that the album's songs have a "timeless, healing quality" that is "far removed from the everyday world and yet at one with it."[1]
