HotMovies is an online adult video-on-demand service which operates on a pay-per-minute system.

History

Hotmovies.com was officially launched in January 2003. Leveraging state-of-the-art video streaming technology, Hotmovies created a unique Pay-Per-Minute streaming system that allowed viewers to watch any portion of over 7,000 adult video titles from major adult studios on their home computers. Hotmovies utilizes a system of pre-purchased minutes.

In 2004, Hotmovies launched its affiliate program Moviedollars.com, which allowed a webmaster to create custom branded Pay-Per-Minute theater sites.[1] Affiliates receive a commission on every sale their customers make.

In August 2008, Hotmovies.com passed 100,000 video titles available for streaming.[2] Hotmovies celebrated the event with The Hundred Grand Gala, held in Philadelphia and featuring adult performers Ron Jeremy, Joanna Angel & Flower Tucci, among otehrs. The event opened with a live performance by Peek-A-Boo Revue.

HotMovies is the only legally licensed distributor for the Cecil Howard's catalogue of Command Cinema releases from the 1970s and early 1980s.[3]

Hotmovies.com offers over 175,000 video titles from over 2,000 studios.

Joint Ventures

In 2005, Moviedollars.com sponsored the YNotRadio.com Marketing Moments.[4]

Hotmovies has partnered with the Free Speech Coalition to produce the one day fundraising event "FreedomStreams ’06"[5]

Hotmovies also became a presenting sponsor of Exxxotica Miami Beach 2007.[6]

Hotmovies has digitized the K-Beech classic Midnight line.[7] Classic flicks from the 1980s and 1990s will be digitized for the first time ever.

LeMayzing Productions has gone online exclusively with Hotmovies.[8]

James Deen has directed and starred in five Hotmovies exclusives.[9]

In June 2012, adult filmmaker Ed Powers announced the continuation of his Dirty Debutantes line, volume 370, exclusively on HotMovies websites, including EdPowersVOD.com. It premiered on Wednesday, August 1st.

The Free Speech Coalition joined forces with Hotmovies to produce an Anti-Measure B benefit.[10]

HotMovies also operates Ron Jeremy's website.[11]
