Hot FM is an Australian radio network, consisting of stations in north and central Queensland and Western Australia.

The brand was created by DMG Radio Australia, before they sold their regional stations to Macquarie Regional RadioWorks (now Southern Cross Austereo) in 2004.

Hot 91.1 (Sunshine Coast) is not owned by Southern Cross Austereo; DMG sold it in early 2005 to A Investments. In 2007, A Investments later sold Hot 91.1 to Prime Television. Southern Cross Austereo and Prime have arrangements with DMG for the use of the Hot FM brand. In August 2013 Grant Broadcasters acquired the station and Prime Media's other nine radio stations in Queensland.

There is also an unrelated Hot FM in Mildura, Victoria.

Programming

The two networks (Queensland and Western Australia) share the same music (contemporary hits, with a focus on Top 40 and rock music)

most stations in the Queensland arm of the network have their own local breakfast program, while Western Australia has one breakfast show (based in Bunbury) for the whole HotFMWA network. From 9am weekdays most stations take "Alo Bakers Workday" syndicated nationally from the Gold Coast Media Centre whilst Hot FM Townsville has local programming until 4pm. The West Australian network have the same programmes across all its stations. Both networks take programming from metropolitan affiliates 2Day FM and Fox FM after 4pm weekdays. Advertising is local in each market.
