Hot hardness
Hot hardness corresponds to hardness of a material at high temperatures (often used when referring to metal). As temperature of material increases hardness goes on decreasing. But at some point this change in hardness is significant, i.e. Drastic decrement in hardness occurs, such point is termed as hot hardness of that material. Such changes can be seen in materials such as heat treated alloys.[1]
